From 14th to 17th April 2026, Ghiyasuddin International School was proud to host the World Scholars’ Cup Maldives Regional Round 2026, welcoming over 700 scholars for four days of learning, collaboration, and friendly competition.
Throughout the event, scholars took part in debates, collaborative writing activities, and the Scholars’ Bowl, engaging with enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork. The campus was alive with thoughtful discussions, new friendships, and a shared love for learning as we welcomed peers from Ahmadhiyya International School, Billabong High International School, Brightway International School, Finland International School, and Villa International High School.
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our own Ghiyasuddin delegation. With 42 Junior teams and 14 Senior teams, our scholars earned an outstanding 392 silver medals, 379 gold medals, and 4 trophies, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and positive spirit throughout the competition.
Congratulations to all participating scholars for their efforts and achievements. We also extend a heartfelt thank you to our student volunteers, whose hard work and commitment played a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the event.
Well done to everyone who made this Regional Round a memorable and meaningful experience!
