Titans Basketball Academy

Founded in 2018, Titans Basketball Academy has grown into one of the Maldives’ most dynamic and impactful basketball development programs. What began with training sessions only at GIS, has expanded into a thriving academy affiliated with six schools across Malé, supporting and training nearly 500 players.
Through its strong partnership with GIS, Titans has played a key role in building one of the most successful school basketball programs in the country, with multiple interschool championship titles. Together, they have developed a generation of high-level athletes who now compete in both men’s and women’s divisions nationally, with several proudly representing the Maldives on the international stage.
The academy is led by a team of national-level coaches alongside experienced international coaches from Sri Lanka and India, ensuring players receive high-quality, well-rounded training. To further enhance player development and exposure, Titans organizes regular competitions, including 5-on-5 and 3x3 tournaments, as well as international tours.
At its core, Titans Basketball Academy is driven by a vision to elevate basketball in the Maldives. Beyond developing athletic skills, the academy is committed to shaping disciplined, confident, and community-minded individuals. By focusing on youth development through schools and creating pathways for competitive opportunities, Titans is building a sustainable basketball ecosystem for future generations.
