Mr. Richard's Visit to GIS
The Head teacher of Ashley School, UK Mr. Richard Dunne visited GIS from 31st July to 2nd August 2016. During his visit he did lesson observation of the teachers teaching English and Literature to Grades 1 to 7 and shared constructive feedback.

12 students of GIS left to participate in the Global Round of the World Scholar's Cup to be held in Prague, Czech Republic from 22nd to 26th July 2016.
“GIS Lights Out Day"

Under the ‘Energy Saving’ project of Fashala, students of Fashala will launch a massive campaign on Monday, 25th July 2016 to encourage everybody to turn off all the classroom lights, and all other devices that project light along with Air conditioners for one day till 6pm. This will continue throughout the year on the last Wednesday of every Month.
The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness about school wide energy consumption and to show the amount of energy and costs that can be saved through such a quick and easy act as turning off the lights and other resources.
