To mark the beginning of the first cycle of the programme, we also handed over placement letters to students who will be embarking on their journey of job shadowing with these esteemed institutions.
We look forward to the continued growth of this programme, with more partnerships to come very soon, that will help our students gain meaningful exposure to the world of work and make informed decisions about their futures.

Diplomatic Missions in the Maldives visited Ghiyasuddin

On 9th October 2025, the distinguished emissaries from three diplomatic missions in the Maldives visited Ghiyasuddin International School to host information sessions with students of grades 7, 8 and 9 in preparation for the upcoming Young Ambassadors’ Conference.
We were honoured to welcome the Ambassador of Japan, Her Excellency Mrs. Ishigami Rumiko, the Australian High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. David Jessup, and the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. Nick Low on this occasion.
The respected officials shared information and advice on this year’s theme, Combating Online Misinformation and Protecting Human Rights. After a brief discussion on their countries’ respective policies regarding the theme, they advised the student delegates about diplomatic conduct and communication.
We are incredibly appreciative of this opportunity for the student delegates to gain firsthand experience of the world of diplomacy. We would like to express our gratitude to the Embassy of Japan, the Australian High Commission and the British High Commission for facilitating this collaboration.
