The election of PTA Exco for the year 2015 was held on 21st January 2015. Members for the Exco are elected amongst the class representatives of the PTA. During the meeting held for this election, PTA chairperson, Vice chairperson and treasurer of 2014 addressed all the parents to share the work done by the PTA Exco in the year 2014.

PTA chairperson who is also the school Principal talked about the progress of the school in general and shared the school targets and goals for the year 2015. After the members addressed the parents, the election process was carried out and members for the Exco board were elected.

Parents were also grouped into the sub committees of the PTA namely Academic, Activity and Health and Wellness  according to their preferences .Thus, the members were elected by voting and before that nominees addressed all parents sharing their voice to assist GIS throughout the year.

In addition to the election, during this gathering appreciation certificates were handed to the Exco members of 2014.GIS extend warm welcome to all the members of PTA Exco of this year and thank the board of 2014.
