Views on – “The world would be a better place if all stopped eating meat”

In today’s world, many people will agree that health should be our first and foremost priority in life, especially in the lives of young teenagers. With that being said, it is the sole responsibility of each and every single one of us to make good use of the good health that we have all been blessed with. In such circumstances, for us to avoid meat and only eat vegetarian meals is simply not making good use of the blessing of good health.

 To begin with, almost everyone in the world would refuse to argue with the fact that animals were sent for the benefit for humans. Hence, we need to make use of that and thus we should be able to eat meat without any guilt. In addition to this, a meal without any kind of meat whatsoever would negatively influence the appetite of the people, to the point where they may refuse to eat anything that does not include meat, resulting in starvation at some point.  

 Moreover, a sudden decline in the intake of meals in our daily life, would result in issues in the digestive systems of humans. This issue may worsen, affecting our immune system, and thus can expose us to deadly diseases, if the situation goes out of hand. Similarly, cutting down meat results in our bodies not receiving all the minerals and vitamins it needs to function to its full potential.

 Likewise, the sudden cutdown of meat consumption will definitely negatively affect the food cycle of all the living animals in the world. Therefore, regardless of how much money is saved, or how many animals are saved, I certainly believe that everyone turning into a vegetarian would not make the world a better place. However, we humans can include some amount of vegetables in our daily meals, and we can stop including excessive meat in our dietary plans as well.
