GSL Global Goals Competition 2019/20

GIS launched the GSL Global Goals Competition 2019/20, on 1st October.The students will develop and implement a project that helps to achieve the United Nations' Global Goals. The competition will give the students the opportunity, support and platform, to create positive change and join a global movement of socially conscious leaders.
Fight against single use plastic

One more step further in our fight against single use plastic. GIS gifted every staff with a water bottle, metal straws and produce bags at the Staff Award Ceremony 2019.
The Magic of Thinking Big

'The Magic of Thinking Big' - a project initiated by a group of students of 3C class. These kids got inspired by one of the people they learned about during their Financial Literacy classes - Hannah Taylor who is known to help people in need through her NGO.
The students worked on the project in the purpose of raising a fund to support and help people in need. They held the event on 29th August 2019 and raised Mvr 14,454/-. The collected money was donated to Fiyavathi in Hulhumale’ at school assembly on 9th October 2019.
