GIS READS 2018 – Time for another book

1st March 2018 was a day filled with jubilation. GIS READS kick off came in with a lot of excitement this year as all the members of the Ghiyasuddin family synergized, replacing the traditional approach of reading. All the teachers across the grades along with the management staff dressed up as characters from books.
GIS celebrates Mother Languages

GIS marked the International Mother Language Day in a special assembly on 21st February 2018.
Board member of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, Mr. Iyaz Nseem was the chief guest at the assembly. In his address to the students, he explained to the students about the misconception people have about what makes a language rich or poor.
GIS students for volunteer work

GIS kick-started its Community Service Programme for the year today, 11th February 2018 , in a special assembly held in the school hall. “GIS for the Community” is a whole school programme run in the school which focuses on service to the community.
