Dear Aunt May,

I ‘m sorry I couldn’t write to you as I had a lot on my plate lately. I just wanted to drop a line on my weird adventure yesterday.

It was the day after my exams and I was looking around the sweets shop for some exotic chocolates. A girl bumped into as I was about to pick up a box of chocolates. She crouched down to pick up the box after apologizing for her clumsiness. As I turned around to see her face it looked very familiar. It just happened to be Emily, a friend who I haven’t met for a long time.

Emily also seemed to recognize me as we started to do our secret handshake. After buying our sweets we walked down the street chatting about chocolates. Since I was free at the moment I asked Emily is she would like to visit the boardwalk with me. Emily was tickled pink and immediately agreed to my idea. We quickly made our way to the boardwalk where we played tons of games and rode the Ferris wheel. We also ate cotton candy and stuffed our faces with churros.

As the sun set and the moon came up, Emily and I had to part ways. As I went home, I kept remembering the times I spent with Emily as a kid. It was a truly nostalgic experience. She was one of the first friends I made as a kid and spending time with her made me feel like a child again.

Overall, it was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. I hope you feel much better now knowing how much you love to hear from your favourite nephew.

Love
