Free downloads affect many artists

In the years of the 21st century, with more and more teenagers gaining access to the internet, listening to music by different artists has become easier. However, have you ever thought of how it affects the artists themselves? Probably not.

With free downloading of music, possible due to the internet, artists are not getting any money for the work and dedication they have put into the music. Free downloads have no affiliation with the artists. This means that they do not make any money for the download. This hurts them and affects their career as they make their music for a living to live a decent life.

In addition to making artists lose some of their income, it can also harm the person who downloads music from the internet. The music is being downloaded from the internet and people have no way of identifying whether the download is legitimate or not. It could be a software to spy on people and collect their personal information. The downloader does not know what the file contains.

Collectively downloading free music from the internet could not only harm the artist who creates the music but also harm the one who downloads it as well.

Well expressed Zayan and I also agree that even distributing a copyrighted media file without the permission of the copyright holder is also illegal.
