Little Maids field trip to explore the historical places in Male'
Today our Little Maids went on a field trip to explore the historical places in Male'. After the educational tour, they had fun time with lots of activities at the Sultan Park. They also collected plastic bottles and cleaned up the park.
It was a fulfilled day for the Littlemaids.
World Scout Day & World Thinking Day
Every year, on 22nd February, the cub-scouts and scouts mark the World Scout Day while the little-maids and guides mark the World Thinking Day.
At GIS, the celebration started with a speech given at the school assembly by one of the little-maids, on behalf of all the cubs, scouts, and little-maids. Many activities relevant to both movements were held right after the session during their meeting time.
Marking the day promotes positive changes and encourages the students to become engaged in solving challenges both locally and internationally.
Through little-maids and scout movements, students get the opportunity to collaborate with others and work toward global citizenship and solidarity in the future.
SAARC Region Badminton Junior Championship
We are happy to announce that two students from GIS departed to Pakistan to participate in the SAARC Region Badminton Junior Championship:
Iyaan Ahmed Mamdhooh and Yalvee Hussain Zuhury.
