Hong Kong Challenge Cup 2025

Having students from our school represent the Maldives National Netball Senior team and National (U-21) at the Hong Kong Challenge Cup 2025 is a moment of immense pride and significance. Their participation at this level showcases the dedication, skill, and sportsmanship nurtured within our school community.
Shiba Hussain Suhail and Tazkiya Mohamed Maushooq not only competed on an international stage but also contributed to the team’s overall success, securing silver and bronze medals for the nation. Their journey exemplifies perseverance, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure. These are values that will inspire their peers and future athletes within our school.
Beyond individual achievement, their presence on the national team highlights the role of our school in developing talent that can compete at elite levels. It strengthens our reputation as a hub for excellence in sports and reinforces the idea that students with passion and commitment can reach remarkable heights.
Their success is a beacon of motivation for younger students, encouraging them to dream big and work hard. These achievements also foster a sense of community pride, as their triumphs are shared and celebrated by students, teachers, and families alike.
Congratulations again to Shiba and Tazkiya. May their journey continue to inspire and uplift others!

Graduation Ceremony Class of 2024- 2025

It was a bittersweet day at GIS as we bid farewell to our class of 2024- 2025. Ten years seems to have passed by in a mere instant as we held our Graduation Ceremony.
We were joined by parents, grandparents and siblings of the graduates as the students proudly did the graduation walk and took to the stage to receive their graduation certificates.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Chief Guest of the day, Mr. Mohamed Jailam, a proud student of Ghiyasuddin School, CEO and MD of Javaabu and co-founder of DhivehiGPT for gracing the ceremony.
