An International Blessing

Are you a swimming junkie? Or are you a person who just swims to stay fit? If so, you’re probably in the school’s monstrous swimming team. Speaking about the swimming team, the school management is planning to send the swimming team overseas to participate in the Pacific Swimmer League, which I firmly agree with.

For starters, sending the school team to participate in this competition will teach them how to synergize with each other. I mean, isn’t any success the result of people working together to achieve a goal? Indeed, by joining this competition, the members of the swimming team will learn to co-operate with one another to bring good name to the school, as they will be competing with teams from around the world. As a result, they will come to set aside their differences and work together, which will help them improve their team skills.

Moreover, the students in the swimming team will become better global citizens by participating in the Pacific Swimmer League. This is as the students will be able to meet fellow swimmers from different parts of the world, each with its own culture and traditions. And let’s be honest: who doesn’t want to meet new people? Consequently, the students will be able to make long, lasting friendships with peers from other countries, which helps bring the world together.

In a nutshell, I strongly feel that sending the swimming team overseas to take part in the Pacific Swimmer League is the best thing since sliced bread, as it would provide the students with countless opportunities. This can even benefit us non-swimmers, as the team can make and showcase a presentation to the school upon their return. Now that sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it?
